Dublin City Council operates the allotment on a devolved basis, in that they delegate to the plot holders to setup a Committee of elected plot holders to help organise the day to day activity within the Allotment.
For example
- grass cutting rota,
- maintenance projects,
- development projects.

After the AGM each year, plot holders are given the opportunity to put themselves forward to be a member of that year's Committee. Normally the Committee consists of 8 - 10 plot holders as there are quite a large number of jobs to be shared out.  If you have any queries please contact

We have set up a Facebook Group page dedicated to all your allotment gardening questions and tips.   This forum is intended to allow plot holders ask questions, share knowledge and generally have some banter about allotment gardening.  It is not intended as a forum for discussing leasing queries or Allotment complaints.  All items of this nature should be communicated to DCC (see 1 above).
